Coronavirus Victoria: 28 new cases recorded, eight more deaths

Victoria has recorded 28 new coronavirus infections as daily cases continue to trend downwards. It’s the lowest number of daily cases in Victoria since 20 infections were recorded on June 24. It means the average daily case number for metropolitan Melbourne continues to fall and now sits at 44.
