The Italian town frozen in time yet loved by visitors

Tucked into the far northeast corner of Lazio, within striking distance of Umbria, the tiny town of Civita di Bagnoregio is known as la citt che muore the dying city. It sits atop a volcanic tufo stone hill in the midst of one of Italys largest inland canyons.
