Townsville is a city on the north-eastern coast of Queensland, Australia. Townsville is Australia’s largest urban centre north of the Sunshine Coast, with a population of 180,820 as of June 2018. Christian Payne took full advantage of the Deniliquin Fishing Classic going virtual this year. The Townsville-based teenager’s catches during the competition on Saturday and Sunday amounted to a whopping total of 1240cm of fish — the most of any of the 163 entrants.
