Furletti ran a brilliant 1500m in the third and final session at the Latrobe University Bendigo athletics complex in Retreat Road. A time of 4:56 was Furletti's best in almost two years. Her run followed an exciting battle between South Bendigo's Bernard Nihill and University's Angus Macafee.
