The new stimulus includes $15 billion for airlines to bring back furloughed workers but their jobs may only last a few months

President Donald Trump signed a long-awaited COVID-19 stimulus package on Sunday and airlines are among the biggest winners. The US government is making $US15 billion out of the package’s $US900 billion available to air carriers so they can bring back furloughed workers and restore air service to cities that lost airlines during the pandemic.
