Proteas heading for win over Sri Lankans

South Africa took five wickets in quick succession to edge closer to victory over an injury-stricken Sri Lanka in the first Test at Centurion. The South African pace bowlers had Sri Lanka 7-148 at lunch on the fourth day – still trailing by 77 runs – and it is unclear how many more batsmen the Sri Lankans will be able to call on in what appears to be a vain effort to avoid defeat.
