Ships that detoured round Africa to avoid the Suez Canal blockage may not arrive any faster, and risk causing port backlogs when they do

When the Suez Canal was blocked, at least 27 ships re-routed to sail round Africa. In the meantime, the canal reopened and ships are passing through again. If the rerouted ships and the ones using the canal all arrive at once, it would cause more backlogs.
