Russia on Thursday warned the UK it would bomb British naval vessels in the Black Sea if there were any further "provocative actions" by the Royal Navy off the coast of Russia-annexed Crimea. The British ambassador in Moscow was summoned for a formal diplomatic telling-off after the warship HMS Defender breached what the Kremlin claims as its territorial waters but which Britain and most of the world say belong to Ukraine.
