Fire rips through London railway arch

A large fire has ripped through a railway arch beside Elephant and Castle station in south London, sending a ball of flame and plumes of black smoke billowing up high into the sky above the capital. Police said the incident was not terror related.

Cobram-Barooga RSL members recently celebrated the 100th year of the sub-branch after COVID-19 restrictions prevented plans for a formal celebration in 2020. On June 19, 48 branch members and guests enjoyed dinner at Cobram Bowling Club to officially celebrate the anniversary.
