Safety issue: Tongala applying to put nets behind goals

Tongala Football Netball Club has requested permission to install netting behind the goals at the Tongala Recreation Reserve. The $46,014 project would put up netting behind both sets of goalposts, with the club citing safety concerns for players and spectators who run across the gravel road circling the ground while collecting balls after goals.
