David Teague has been given a ‘fighting chance’ of hanging on for the final year of his three-year coaching contract at Carlton due to concerns surrounding candidate Ross Lyon. Teague was widely expected to lose his job on Monday following another disappointing season in which the team won just eight of 22 matches.
