He was seen about 1am on Saturday when he failed to stop at the Stuart Highway checkpoint between Darwin and Katherine. Police pursued but terminated the chase soon afterwards. The vehicle was seen again near Acacia Hill and then later on Saturday morning at a checkpoint outside Katherine,
