A-League: Angus Thurgate open to accepting leadership roles at Newcastle Jets if opportunity knocks

Angus Thurgate hasn't noticed his elevation up the pecking order at the Newcastle Jets. There is little doubt, however, the Port Macquarie product has certainly impressed new coach Arthur Papas enough for Papas to have a whisper in his ear about potentially becoming a future leader.
