Severe thunderstorm warning issued in Victoria: Large hail and damaging winds expected, including in Melbourne and Geelong

A severe thunderstorm warning has been issued for parts of Victoria, including Melbourne and Geelong. The Bureau of Metereology (BOM) issued the urgent alert on Wednesday afternoon for greater Melbourne as well as parts of Central and West and South Gippsland Forecast Districts.
