The Newcastle Knights have closed all football operations for the remainder of 2021 as the fallout of the nightclub Covid cluster continues. Earlier this week the Knights were sent home from training and sent into isolation before development player Chris Vae’lia tested positive for Covid-19 on Wednesday.
