NCAA MEN’S BASKETBALL: With MAAC Tournament bid secured, Siena is far from done fighting

ALBANY, N.Y. — When Siena head coach Gerry McNamara learned that their Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) postseason tournament wouldn’t carry all 13 of its members to Atlantic City this March, he had one thought: “Just make it.” After going from 11 member institutions to 13 with the additions of Sacred Heart and Merrimack, the MAAC announced it would be toggling its playoff format.
