Star India cricketer Virat Kohli added yet another feather in his hat as he achieved a rare milestone when India took the field during the India vs New Zealand ICC Champions Trophy 2025 final on March 9 (Sunday) at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium in Dubai. Playing his third consecutive Champions Trophy final, Kohli became only the second Indian cricketer to feature in 550 international matches.Only batting legend Sachin Tendulkar (664 matches) has played more international games than Kohli. Tendulkar, who retired in 2013, featured in 200 Tests, 463 ODIs, and one T20I. In comparison, Kohli has represented India in 123 Tests, 302 ODIs, and 125 T20Is. Kohli is followed by MS Dhoni, who played 538 matches for India.
