Fremantle-based hospitality group LocalsCo has purchased the 123-year-old Bayswater Hotel and Motel, marking the first time the venue has changed hands in more than four decades.

Fremantle have shown faith in their direction under Justin Longmuir, extending the coach's contract until the end of the 2024 AFL season.Longmuir, who took the reins in September 2019, has added another two years to a deal that was due to expire at the end of 2022.
