Speculation that Wests Tigers half Luke Brooks would leave to link up with the Newcastle Knights has been firmly quashed by the club. This morning the club issued a strong statement from former coach and new director of football Tim Sheens allaying any concerns Brooks was moving on.

The Wests Tigers have shut down talk of halfback Luke Brooks moving on from the club. The club's response comes after a report earlier today in the Sydney Morning Herald by Nine's Danny Weidler that claimed Brooks was no longer interested in being coached by Michael Maguire.
