NSW Origin forward Junior Paulo is set to agree to a new deal to remain at the Parramatta Eels, 7NEWS understands. The 28-year-old prop, who had one year remaining on his existing contract, was chased hard by up to four NRL clubs including the newly formed Dolphins for season 2023.

The Brisbane Broncos have loaned Jesse Arthars to the Warriors for the 2022 season. The 23-year-old will then return to the Broncos in 2023 to fulfil the final year of his contract. Arthars has played 29 NRL games since making his debut for the Titans in 2019.
